Newberry Park - Chapel Hill, NC

Michael Steiner was honored to be selected as one of the interior designers for the Southern Living Idea House 2003, "Newberry Park," in Chapel Hill, NC. The house, located in Meadowmont, was designed for a young, professional family with small children. The interior reflects a lifestyle for both formal and casual living. Using the architectural plans as a foundation, Michael developed all interior details, which included:

• Selection of all moldings and trim
• Design, layout, selection, and specification of all interior lighting
• Complete kitchen design
• Designed all custom cabinetry
• Selection, specification, and layout of all interior tile
• Selection and specification of all interior finishes, including paint, wallcoverings, and floor coverings
• Custom-designed window treatments throughout
• Furniture layout and selection and specification of all furnishings
• Specification and procurement of all accessory items and artwork
• Overseeing entire installation
